A működését kétéves szakképző programmal 1999-ben megkezdő Vasi Bau Fa- és építőipari Szakképző Iskola szoros együttműködésben az iskolafenntartó Vasi Szakmunkásképző és Oktatási Alapítvánnyal, továbbá a Bau-Extra Oktatási és Szakképzési Kft.-vel ismert és keresett iskola lett rövid idő alatt Szombathelyen. A beiskolázás a megye egész területéről történik. 2000 őszétől a négyéves képzési program is elindult, sőt ma már a szakközépiskolai képzésre is jogosítvánnyal rendelkezik az iskola.

A kétéves szakmai képzés keretében csak szakmai elméleti és gyakorlati tárgyakat tanulnak a diákok, a négyéves képzési programban a kötelező közismereti tantárgyakon kívül az iskola arculatát tükröző tantárgyakat - pályaorientáció, szakmai előkészítő - oktatjuk.

Pedagógiai programunkban hangsúlyt kapott és kap a szakmatanulási inditékok felkeltése, fenntartása, erősítése, valamint a differenciált, ösztönző az egyénhez igazodó módszerek alkalmazása.

A céljaink eléréséhez szükséges személyi feltételek, azaz magasan képzett, nagy gyakorlattal rendelkező szaktanárok-szakoktatók alkalmazása, és a jó tárgyi környezet körülményeinek egyre gazdagodóbb tárháza rendelkezésre állnak.

Vasi Bau Fashausbildungsschule für Holz- und Bauindustrie, die ihre Tätigkeit im Jahre 1999 mit einem zweijährigen Fachbildungsprogramm begonnen hat, ist in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Vasi Stiftung für Fachausbildung und Schulung, Schulebetreiber sowie mit der Bau-Extra Ausbildungs- und Fachbildungsgesellschaft m.b.H. in kurzer Zeit eine bekannte und gesuchte Schule in Szombathely geworden. Die Einschulung erfolgt aus dem ganzen Gebiet des Komitats. Seit Herbst 2000 ist auh das vierjährige Bildungsprogramm angefangen, heute hat die Schule sogar auch Berechtigung für Bildung als Fachmittelschule.

Im Rahmen der zweijährigen Bildung lernen die Schüler nur berufliche theoretische und praktische Fächer, in dem vierjährigen Bildungsprogramm werden außer der verbindlichen allgemeinen Fächer solche Fächer-
Berufsorientierung, Berufsvorbereitung- gelehrt, die das Image der Schule wiederspiegeln.
In unserem pädagogischen Programm wurde und wird einen großen Wert auf Aufregung, Aufrechthaltung, Verstärkung der Motive von Berufslernen sowie auf Anwendung von differenzierten, anspornenden, dem Individuum anpassenden Methoden gelegt.

Die zum Erreichen unserer Ziele notwendingen personellen Voraussetzungen d.h. hochqualitizierte Fachlehrer-Fachinstrukteure mit großer Praxis sowie die Umstände des guten gegenständlichen Milieus, das immer reicher wird, stellen zur Verfügung.
Der Direktor der Vasi Bau Fachausbildungsschule für Holc- und Bauindustrie ist Herr Zsolt Padányi, der Präsident des Kuratoriums der Vasi Stiftung für Fachausbildung und Schulung, der Schulebetreiber ist Herr József Hédi.

Vasi Bau Technical School of Wood and Building, which has begun its activity with a two-years programme in 1999, in close co-operation with Vasi Foundation of Training and Professional Training Limited Company has became a well-known, popular school in Szombathely within short time. The registration of the students happens from the whole area of the county. Since autumn 2000 also the four-years programme has started and nowadays the school has also the right for training like a special secondary school.

Within the frame of two-years professional training the students learn only professional theoretical and practical subjects, in the four-years training programme besides the compulsory general subjects also such subjects are trained - professional orientation, professional preparing - vhich reflect the image of the school.
In our pedagogical programme it was and it is very important to inspire, keep and reinforce the motives of studying profession and also very important to use sensitive, motivating methods which follow the individuals.
The personal conditions that are necessary to reach our purposes, it means high-qualified subject teachers and special trainers with great experiences and also the circumstances of the good technical atmosphere that is being richer and richer, are available.

The director of Vasi Bau Technical School of Wood and Building is Mr. Zsolt Padányi, the head of board of trustees of Vasi Foundation of Training and Education of Skilled Workers, the maintainer of the school is Mr. József Hédi.
